Liverpool

We headed to Liverpool, a city that once dominated global trade and is now
better known as the home of the Beatles. We took a guided walking tour of the docks and downtown Liverpool (named for the Liver Bird which is a mythical creature that is the symbol of the English city of Liverpool). We enjoyed a wonderful dinner at an Argentine Steakhouse. The steak and salad was the cheapest meal and the most delicious meal that I enjoyed while in Great Britain! While we were in Liverpool, we met many gymnasts from around the world who were there for an international gymnastics competition!
