Edinburgh Royal Mile Area

We explored central Edinburgh starting in the 200-year-old “New Town” with its planned
streets and elegant Georgian houses. We viewed Princes Street, the city’s premier
shopping street, and saw the Royal Mile, where medieval houses are clustered
closely together.

This is a statue in memory of Bobby.
This is the home of John Knox, 1514 – 24 – November 1572. He was a Scottish minister, Reformed theologian, and writer who was a leader of the country’s Reformation.
Adam Smith – the great Scottish economist, philosopher, and author of The Wealth of Nations.
